Feb/March update

So, I have been eager to visit as many new places as I can, to discover this new city and revisit places Id been to on my holiday here (2 years ago). Until this week, the weather has been pretty good and last weekend the suns unexpected appearance enabled us to see Deep Cove in all its glory

A hockey game at Rogers Arena, saw the Canucks take a 5-1 victory against the Calgary Flames. Jack and I, kitted out in our new jerseys had a great time at the game, soaking up the atmosphere at half time, chanting loudly and having a taste of the match beer that is filled from the bottom up. Jack has been waiting nearly 10 years to see a live hockey match as he has been into the Canucks for a while now, and according to him, the experience was well worth the wait!

A few days after watching the hockey we are itching to have a go on the ice.
Richmond ice rink proves to us just how hard ice skating can be

Some cool houses I saw off Main Street

 Vintage shop with funky/friendly owner

This wonderful man with his cowboy hat and fantastic beard
A Mexican themed night we had, with sangria,
nachos and burritos (made with yves vegan mince, so yummy)

and several evenings spent by the Steveston coast,
watching the sky turn magical hues of pinks and blues
