Danielle
and Jin's room during their 2 days in Paris
(me by our window)
Our
beautiful little room; with the busy-print fabric walls, iron flower
wall
lights and balcony windows giving us a view of the Eiffel tower!
One night in our
little room in Montmartre wasn't enough.
We could've stayed
much longer, walking around the cobbled streets of Paris.
We could've spend
more time visiting more museums,
taking breaks in
between to stop for hot chocolate or macaroons.
Our room overlooked
the little square below that had a children’s carousel,
a large church and
the abbesses metro station.
In the evening we
stocked up on pretzels, crisps, yoghurt’s and wine from the
supermarket
and spoilt our
appetite by devouring it all.
Following that, we
did not eat out at dinner.
We lounged on our bed
sipping wine and watching the French version of pop idol.
It was cheesy and
ridiculous, so naturally we enjoyed it.
Outside the Eiffel
tower was lit up and sparkling.
From the top, a
searchlight circled the city of Paris.
Jin enjoys herself so much that she faints
The
first thing we did in the morning was look out of the window
at
the Eiffel tower in its crisp February morning.
