Hey Buddy!

I made this illustration a few weeks ago. I have been feeling like using green alot in my work so set this one outside again. This time a Canadian mountie with a wacky smile, stands in front of his white horse. I have yet to see a Canadian mountie in the flesh, I am told I will when I visit one of the mountains. Canadians are renowned for using the expression 'buddy'. I have noticed many people using it and its a friendly, fun phrase that suited my mountie.

Valentines House

Little late...but...
When I visited main street a few weekends ago, I saw this cool house.
Really enthusiastic about festive decor, we can see the remaining snowmen and christmas lights, who are now joined by valentines decorations.
The old houses around main street were incredible. They felt authentically Canadian, with dark wood and large porches.

Bobs

Some funny signage in 'Bobs Submarines', a cafe in Richmond

Red Riding Hood

I wanted to bring some more green into our room so decided to do a painting involving plenty of grass, woodland and trees. I decided Red Riding Hood was a perfect little illustration set in a forest, that would be easy to complete and nice to research for. I want to edit the drawing in photoshop but for now this is the finished piece.
I have been pretty busy the past 3 weekends and will have many photos to upload/report on soon!
