Music Video Tattoo design

Mommie Dearest

So my friend Sam has formed a boy band with two of his friends Lulu and Tom and he asked me to do some artwork for his band’s first music video ‘Cray Cray’.
His mother was playing a hooker who was getting a tattoo from her young daughter
and I was to draw a tattoo onto his mother Bonita’s arm.

Above is the design I came up with which I drew prior to the shoot day

Below is how the tattoo turned out on Bonita’s arm and chest!

Then Sam asked me to hang around and be a party guest in the music video.
I got my hair styled into a fabulous beehive.
My hair felt like a giant pillow and was surprisingly comfy.
It is all my hair, nothing underneath supporting it.
I tried sleeping with it.
Apparently women used to do that and their hairdo could last them over a week.

Check out ‘Mommie Dearest’s’ video here!
It was as fun to shoot as it looks in the video.
Lots of dancing, balloons, laughter and free Dominos pizza.
As a band, Mommie Dearest are very theatrical, witty and Great to dance to.
A camp and crazy catwalk..... that's likely to offend

and according to one magazine
"as nasty as a hangnail"

The unlikely pothole

Check out this funny website!

The lady and the scooter accident is actually more
sad than funny. But her bored expression is superb.
I was looking for images to include in my dissertation
so this website was actually work related.
However, I am allowing myself a 10 minute break to
have some hot chocolate. It is 3.33am. I like announcing this,
as it is quite rare for me to work through the night.
I value my sleep and settle for no less than 9 hours sleep every night.
my hot chocolate is coming to an end and I must return to writing my conclusion.

GOON

Last Friday, I saw 'Goon' at the cinema. I’d forgotten how nice it was to spend a Friday night at the cinema.

As Goon began I realised this movie was very violent. It was dirty- fist fights, aggressive ice hockey and plenty of close-ups of blood on ice....

But once I got into the violence, I really started to enjoy this film.

There was something appealing about the loveable goon and his quest for ice hockey stardom.

Can the Ice Hockey players really just throw their gloves down when they want to fight!?
I can’t wait to see an ice hockey game in Canada- let’s hope there’s a fight!
This film had alot of heart, team spirit and plenty of fun!

My favourite parts of the movie featured Xavier La Flamme chewing on his mouth guard ; )
I realised I had seen the actor Marc Andre Grondin in a French film last year that I had really enjoyed. I watched it again a few nights ago

Belated photos from christmas

Christmas presented me with alot of nice presents- mainly books
I also gained a lightweight tripod, perfect for any upcoming projects

I still need to take down the tree in my bedroom- But I cant find the box
Maybe its ok if it stays all year? saves me having to decorate it next December.

who am I kidding- I love decorating Christmas trees.
I spent most of the year deciding my theme

This book made a great Christmas read. I consumed the entire thing in one sitting.

This is Jack looking very cute in his christmas atire.
